Coming soon – your Optional Retirement Plan is moving to Fidelity Investments®

The Idaho State Board of Education completed a review in 2023 of retirement plan providers and are excited to share that Fidelity Investments (Fidelity) has been selected for the exceptional service they provide. Effective December 2, 2024, Fidelity will be the new service provider for the Idaho State Board of Education Optional Retirement Plan (the “Plan”). In addition, Fidelity will be an available provider for employee contributions to the 403(b) Voluntary Plan.

You do not need to take action for your Plan account to transfer to Fidelity.

The Optional Retirement Plan at Fidelity will offer:

  • The NetBenefits® website and mobile app to easily access and manage your accounts.
  • Online planning tools, videos, and workshops to help you make decisions for your future.
  • Help and investment advice from Fidelity’s experienced representatives.
  • In-person consultation with a dedicated Fidelity representative who can help you plan for your financial goals.
  • Investor Centers where you can meet with local professionals trained to provide investment help. Fidelity retail products and services are offered separately from your employer-sponsored retirement plan.
  • Expanded mutual fund investment choices to help you manage your retirement contributions with the additional flexibility of a self-directed brokerage account through Fidelity BrokerageLink®.

Throughout the transition period, information will be updated and available on this transition site.
